Siskiyou county public health partnered with the Siskiyou Family YMCA in holding a ๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ญ ๐บ๐ถ ๐๐๐ป ๐ฅ๐๐ป/๐ช๐ฎ๐น๐ธ and by participating in the Y’s Healthy Kids Dayยฎ. The first full week of April the American Public Health Association (APHA) brings together communities across the United States to observe ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฐ.
“Thirty one members pre registered for the one mile loop around the Siskiyou YMCA stated, Deputy Director Dana Smith. everyone gets a tote, tee shirt, a ribbon for participation, followed with refreshments.”



Many booths regarding public health and safety were setup to display many of the county services along with other organizations joining in to make the day a complete success.

lots of fun activities around every corner, from the big bounce house or test your skills on the rock wall.. After grabbing a water you could head back outside for the many crafting tables and crawl around on the Yreka City’s big ladder truck, or get some bicycle safety tips from a California Highway Patrol officer..
