On April 14, 2026, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) Officer conducted an enforcement stop on a passenger vehicle on northbound Interstate 5 in the CHP Yreka Area. Upon contacting the solo occupant of the vehicle, the officer observed multiple signs of criminal activity.
