He wasn’t the Mt Shasta Fire Chief; the city still has its fire chief.
Captain. Burns is Mt. Shasta Chief. Supposedly the perp was involved in a theft situation before he was hired for this position. Just word on the street.
Captain, not chief. Burns is chief I thought. Did hear this guy had a prior arrest or issue with theft- possibly, before he was hired into the captain position. I do not have any evidence, but apparently it is common knowledge amongst many other sources. What a shame.
