Etna Summit, Mt. Shasta Ski Park, Bunny Flat Among Affected Areas
SISKIYOU COUNTY — The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Winter Storm Warning for elevations above 5,000 feet in Siskiyou County, effective from 4 PM Saturday through 4 PM Sunday.
Forecasters predict heavy snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches across higher elevations, with 18 to 24 inches possible on the highest peaks and ridgelines. Wind gusts reaching 60 mph over exposed terrain could create dangerous whiteout conditions and downed tree limbs.
