Community initiative aims to rebuild local forest products industry while addressing wildfire risk
HAPPY CAMP, Calif. — Armed with a $920,000 grant for feasibility study from the California Office of Emergency Services, Happy Camp Community Center and Happy Camp Strong.org is embarking on an ambitious economic development project that could transform its relationship with the surrounding forests.
