Want to try something new and fun? There are Salsa (Ballroom) dancing lessons in McCloud every Friday night. No partner is necessary. It is something different even if you want to just go and watch.
Rick and Peggy Nixion have been ballroom dancing since 1994 and have started teaching lessons at the McCloud Dance Hall last month. Along with Salsa and Mambo, they also teach the Tango, Rumba, Foxtrot, and the Waltz.
For years, they taught on cruise ships and now have “retired” to McCloud but their love for teaching can’t stop.
They also teach at the Mountain Fitness in Mt. Shasta on Wednesdays and Saturdays for $10 a class.
But if you buy a 4 lesson card it is only $6.25 per class.
