Arrested at Eagles Nest/Sacramento St by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for DUI alcohol and DUI alcohol/0.08 percent. No bail set. Released same day after sobering up. Apparently the nest wasn’t the only thing that was flying high that night.
Brianna L. Branham, 30, Yreka
Arrested at N Foothill Dr by Yreka Police Department for simple battery. Bail set at $3,000. Released same day. Nothing says “domestic bliss” like a midnight battery charge at the apartment complex.
Yajiao Chen, 54, Philadelphia
Arrested on Golden Road by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for cultivating 6+ marijuana plants. No bail set. Released after one day. Traveled 3,000 miles just to get busted for growing weed in California – talk about poor life choices.
Wesley D. Cherrick, 30, Dunsmuir
Arrested on Shasta Ave by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office on a failure to appear warrant. Bail set at $1,000. Released same day. Professional hide-and-seek player finally found by the authorities.
Zhang Chun, 45, Seattle
Arrested on Golden Road by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for cultivating 6+ marijuana plants. No bail set. Released after one day. Another out-of-state entrepreneur discovering California’s agricultural regulations the hard way.
Judy J. Cozine, 48, Yreka
Arrested in Hornbrook by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for contempt of court/violating protective order. Bail set at $1,000. Released after two days. Some people just can’t take a hint – even when it comes with a court order.

Debra R. Demery, 54, Etna
Arrested at Star Access Rd by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for assault with deadly weapon, smuggling controlled substances into jail, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear, robbery, making criminal threats, animal cruelty, battery, trespassing, throwing substance at vehicle, and obstructing a peace officer. Various bail amounts totaling over $120,000. Still in custody. When you’re speedrunning the entire criminal code in one arrest.
Monica M. Denny, 32, Yreka
Arrested at N Foothill Dr by Yreka Police Department for simple battery. Bail set at $3,000. Released same day. The Foothill Drive apartments are apparently the happening place for domestic disputes.
Kaleb Farmer, 34, Yreka
Arrested on Greenway by Yreka Police Department for trespassing to obstruct business operations. No bail set. Released same day. Apparently “customer is always right” doesn’t apply when you’re trespassing.
Aaron W. Fisher, 35, Grants Pass, OR
Arrested on S Main St by Yreka Police Department for being addicted and driving under the influence of drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail set. Released after one day. Oregon exports: timber, coffee, and apparently impaired drivers.
Michael W. Fitchett, 37, Eagle Point, OR
Arrested during transport by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. Bail set at $500,000. Still in custody. Some transportation requests come with very expensive consequences.
Joseph R. Fragua, 61, Fort Jones
Arrested in Etna by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for disorderly conduct/alcohol. No bail set. Released same day. Proving that age is just a number when it comes to poor decision-making.
Rafael Franco Jr., 43, Yreka
Arrested in 500 block of W Foothill by Yreka Police Department for DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol/0.08 percent, and failure to appear. Bail set at $7,500. Released after one day. The trifecta of bad choices: drinking, driving, and skipping court.
Troy S. Gardner, 40, Yreka
Arrested at Taco Bell by Yreka Police Department on multiple failure to appear warrants. No bail set. Released same day. Even Taco Bell can’t save you from your legal obligations.
Charles A. Garza, 47, Yreka
Arrested at Rose Lane by Yreka Police Department for disorderly conduct/alcohol. No bail set. Released same day. Rose Lane bloomed with public intoxication that evening.
Phineas Givens, 36, Crozet, VA
Arrested on Speedway Exp by Yreka Police Department for obstructing a peace officer and failure to appear. Bail set at $50,000. Released same day. Virginia is for lovers, but California is for arrests.

Arrested at Dewitt Park by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for child abuse with possible great bodily injury. No bail set. Released same day. Teenage years are tough, but this is taking it too far.
Craig T. Greenway, 37, Dunsmuir
Arrested at W A Barr Rd by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated assault and simple battery. No bail set. Released same day. Sometimes the greenway leads to the gray-bar hotel.
Daniel L. Grieb, 57, Yreka
Arrested at Walmart by Yreka Police Department for disorderly conduct/alcohol. No bail set. Released after one day. Even Walmart’s “People of Walmart” collection has its limits.
Luis E. Gudino-Munguia Jr., 25, Yreka
Arrested at French Creek/Meadowlark by California Highway Patrol for evading peace officer with wanton disregard, DUI alcohol causing bodily injury, and DUI .08 alcohol causing bodily injury. Bail set at $50,000. Released same day. When “Fast and Furious” meets “Drunk and Dangerous.”
San M. He, 45, Sacramento
Arrested on Golden Road by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for cultivating 6+ marijuana plants. No bail set. Released after one day. Sacramento’s agricultural exports program taking an unexpected detour.
Jericho L. Johnson, 46, Happy Camp
Arrested during transport by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for murder and arson causing great bodily injury. No bail set. Still in custody. Happy Camp resident bringing decidedly unhappy charges.
Michael D. Landon II, 41, Mt Shasta
Arrested at Siskiyou County Jail by District Attorney’s Office for lewd acts with child under 14, incest, assault with deadly weapon, criminal threats, false imprisonment, kidnapping child under 14 to commit lewd acts, continuous sexual abuse of child, torture, and child abuse with possible great bodily injury. No bail set. Released after three days. When your rap sheet reads like a criminal law textbook’s worst-case scenarios.
Von L. Linse, 31, McCloud
Arrested by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for reckless driving on highway. No bail set. Released same day. McCloud resident found the highway clouds a bit too tempting.
Daniel M. Lloyd, 48, Dunsmuir
Arrested at Spring Hill Rd by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for trespassing with injury to property/obstruct business. No bail set. Released same day. Spring Hill didn’t spring for uninvited guests.
Lang P. Lor, 33, Montague
Arrested at McDonald’s Yreka by Yreka Police Department for possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple failure to appear warrants. Various bail amounts totaling $105,000. Still in custody. “I’m lovin’ it” doesn’t apply to outstanding warrants at McDonald’s.
Maizey G. Maloney, 19, Willow Creek
Arrested at Eagles Nest Dunsmuir by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for disorderly conduct/intoxication with drugs and alcohol. No bail set. Released same day. Teenage party plans went south faster than a migrating bird.
Nathan P. Marchetti, 31, Yreka
Arrested on Yreka Greenway by Yreka Police Department for probation violation, trespassing, and obstructing a peace officer. No bail set. Still in custody. The greenway wasn’t green enough to hide from probation violations.
Nathaniel A. Marquez-Griffin, 29, Klamath River
Arrested in 400 block Lawrence Ln by Yreka Police Department for disorderly conduct/alcohol. No bail set. Released same day. Lawrence Lane learned that not all late-night visitors are welcome.
Carol A. McClure, 41, McCloud
Arrested in McCloud by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for possession of drug paraphernalia and controlled substances. No bail set. Released same day. McCloud’s cloud cover didn’t hide the illegal substances.
Kraig D. Means, 49, Dunsmuir
Arrested at Dunsmuir Ave by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for assault with deadly weapon and spousal battery. Bail set at $25,000. Released same day (bailed out). Domestic disputes mean serious business in Dunsmuir.
Michael E. Milam Jr., 41, Klamath Falls, OR
Arrested on US Hwy 97 by Weed Police Department for possession and transportation of controlled substances, transporting narcotics between counties, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $50,000. Released same day. Oregon-to-California drug tourism didn’t go as planned.

Arrested on Heather Lane by California Highway Patrol for failing to obey peace officer, obstructing a peace officer, driving with suspended license, child abuse with possible great bodily injury, and failure to appear. Bail set at $26,000. Still in custody. Weed resident’s stony disposition didn’t impress the authorities.

Arrested at jail lobby by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office for child abuse with possible great bodily injury (multiple counts) and DUI alcohol. No bail set. Released same day. “Super” performance in poor parenting decisions.
