Montague, CA – July 21, 2025 – Nicklus Colf Fahey, a registered sex offender, has returned to Montague, residing at South 9th St, near Diggle Field and the Montague Rodeo Grounds. The 21-year-old’s release in 2025, after convictions for sexual offenses, concerns the town of 1,400.
Fahey was convicted on May 13, 2025, for:
- Lewd acts with a child under 14 (3 years in prison).
- Oral copulation with a person under 18 (16 months).
- Unlawful sexual intercourse (16 months).
- Sexual battery (2 years).
- Misdemeanor unlawful intercourse (90 days in jail).
Charges from 2022, including forcible rape, were dismissed in a plea deal. Fahey’s early release has raised alarm due to his home’s proximity to family-friendly areas.
Under Megan’s Law, Fahey’s details are on www.meganslaw.ca.gov. His 2025 Static-99R score is 3 (moderate-low risk). He must register annually by April 6 or upon moving, with non-compliance a felony.
