Dear Senator Dahle,
 
I noted a recent email from your office extolling the virtues of the Family Water Alliance and Nadine Bailey COO, in particular.  I have a decidedly different opinion regarding them.  In 2018 during the efforts to retain the Klamath Dams, the newsletter of Family Water Alliance published an “interview” of Crysten Lambert, former head of Oregon Trout Unlimited and then Chair of the Klamath…

  • My family lived on Copco Lake for many years. Our boat dock would raise and lower depending on when they were releasing water for the salmon. We at the lake were caring for all fish. The condition of the salmon when they reached the hatchery was awful. Going further would not have happened. Gil netting was and is the distraction of of the salmon. Oh and the algae? Me, my children and pets well swam the in the lake and were still alive. They have actually killed the river now.
