On Thursday, December 5th; Two Los Angeles County men were arrested Thursday after a routine traffic stop in Siskiyou County led to the discovery of over 25 pounds of methamphetamine.
A Sheriff’s Sergeant pulled over a white sedan on Interstate 5 for vehicle code violations. During the stop, the Sergeant found neither the driver, Guillermo A. Ayala, 28, nor his passenger, Yesith Leonardo Chriez Bueno, 24, possessed valid driver’s licenses. After observing indicators of drug trafficking, the Sergeant conducted a probable cause search, locating the methamphetamine in the vehicle’s trunk.
Both men were arrested and booked into Siskiyou County Jail on charges of transportation and possession of methamphetamine for sale.
