Irene Susan Andresen was born June 1, 1948 in Modesto, California. She graduated to Heaven peacefully on November 28, 2024 with her husband, Rick, by her side.

Irene was raised by her grandparents, Dorothy and Floyd Pierson. She attended Stanislaus Junior College. She eventually settled in Dunsmuir, California, where she met her husband, Rick. She lived the last thirty five years in Yreka, California. She and Rick were married for thirty five years and enjoyed to travel. They took many cruises and traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Canada. Her favorite destination was Maui, and she traveled there often.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Mara Crist and Melinda Johnston. She had five grandchildren: Elizabeth Clark, Nicholas Johnson, Holly Morton, Tyler Anshutz, and Evan Crist. She also had two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Noah Clark.

There will be a celebration of her life on December 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Cross Point Community Church – 921 S. Oregon Street, Yreka. Please bring stories to tell and wear your loudest Hawaiian attire.
