US Postal Service Recommends People ‘Don’t Delay’ to Post Mail-In Ballots

The U.S. Postal Service has recommended that Americans submit their election mail-in ballots a week before the Nov. 5 election due to an anticipated increase in mail-in ballot returns that will inundate the system.

In a news release on Monday, the USPS said that “voters who choose to vote by mail do so soon” because of “an uptick of ballots in the mail over the coming days.”
