YREKA – The Siskiyou Golden Jackpot Show is changing dates for 2024 and moving to November 1-3, 2024.
The Golden Jackpot committee has been busy looking at ways to improve the opportunity for exhibitors to show in Yreka. In recent years, more California fairs have moved their dates back into early May and with a Mother’s Day jackpot many former exhibitors were done for the year. With the Jackson County Harvest Festival as a fall show and sale, and many Siskiyou County producers participating in that event, we are hoping to attract more youth to Yreka.
The weekend activities will kick off Friday, November 1st and the schedule will be published as soon as the details have been set. This show has always been an opportunity for our local youth to gain experience and over the years has created an extremely competitive beef show at the annual fair.
A complete jackpot schedule and sponsorship opportunities are in progress and entries will be available on the fair website www.sisqfair.com after the 2024 fair. Call the fair office for more information at 842-2767. The 2024 fair runs August 7-11 in Yreka.
