YREKA – The 10th District Agricultural Association held elections at the December 5, 2023 board meeting and elected officers for 2024. The board, which is appointed by the Governor, in order of years of service as of 2024 includes; Darrin Mercier – 24 years, Judd Hanna – 19 years, Brandon Fawaz – 18 years, Jason Finley – 14 years, Monet Allen – 2 years, Alyssa Burrone – 2 years, and Chris Kutzkey – 1 year. “The association has been led by President Jason Finley for the last 12 years” stated CEO Cliff Munson, “We would all like to thank him for his service during those years.” This board is a tremendous asset to our association and community and maintaining a leadership position for that long is amazing.
For 2024, the President will be Alyssa Burrone, Ft. Jones and the Vice President will be Monet Allen, Grenada.
The association meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the director’s room at the fairground. The agenda can be found on our website www.sisqfair.com.
The 2024 Siskiyou Golden Fair will run August 7-11 in Yreka.
