The following county offices are to be nominated/elected: Superior Court Judge, County Supervisor 1st District, County Supervisor 2nd District and County Supervisor 4th District.
Circulation for Petition in Lieu of Filing Fee for county offices begins September 14, 2023 through November 8, 2023. The nomination period for county offices is November 13, 2023 through December 8, 2023. The filing period for Declaration of Intent for Judicial Candidates begins October 30, 2023 through November 8, 2023.
Information regarding Federal and State offices can be obtained by visiting www.sos.ca.gov. Candidate paperwork for Federal, State and County Offices will be available at the County Clerk’s Office, 311 Fourth Street, Room 201, Yreka, CA 96097, during the filing period.
In addition, some county central committee members for political parties will also be elected. The nomination period for these positions is also November 13 – December 8, 2023.
