I have recently had the opportunity to review the official letter from the Klamath Mitigation Fund which has been sent to selected property owners impacted by the proposed Klamath Hydro Dam Removal. These owners were selected based on criteria established independently by the Fund Administrators.

  • Why is there so little concern about the loss of habitat for the marine life in the reservoir and wild animals nearby that have become dependent on the water there? There are ecosystems being destroyed that have been in the reservoir for almost a hundred years. I would expect there to be more concern for them but nobody seems to care.

  • I have never heard it mentioned but I think we all should be compensated for all our docks and gangways that they took from our properties! That would be considered “physical” damage, I would think!
