Bains Towing & Recovery LLC brought up a Wrecker & Rotator out of Weed, CA.
If you find yourself stuck out in the roads, BTR is available 24/7 to help.
On April 13th, 2023 at 0235 am, a reported traffic accident at the I-5 off ramp was called in. Case was taken for investigation and responded to a non-injury traffic accident. While on the scene it was determined to be a stolen truck.
Bains Towing secured the truck so the police department could investigate the scene. The police department had found a suspicious person about a 100 yards away from the truck missing his shoe, so they wanted to make sure the other shoe was not in the truck. The dump truck was secured so the police officer could investigate.
Once the police were done investigating the truck, Bains successfully recovered the truck from the creek with the only truck of its kind in the area a 1.2 million dollar rotator.
The fuel tank was partially submerged in the creek so we picked it up off the rocks first, then pulled it out… avoiding a hazmat scenario.
The vehicle was returned to owner.
