Jennifer Williams passed away on March 24, 2023 at Fairchild Medical Center in Yreka, at the age of 50, after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy. She had been bedridden from the disease and her loving husband Henry tended to her along the way.
Jennifer, or Jenny as she was called by family and friends, was born on January 29th, 1973 in Hayward, CA to Gene and Linda Allerd. She had an elder sister named Tommie. In 1995 her family moved to Siskiyou County. She helped her mother teach classes at Delphic Elementary School. In May 2001 she meet Henry Williams, originally from San Jose, CA. They married on August 17th, 2002.
She was preceded in death by her mother Linda, sister Tommie and father Gene. She leaves behind her husband Henry, stepfather Ron Hayes of Yreka, niece Marty Pool and Cousin Zoe Pool of Washington, WV.
Services will be held on Friday, April 14th, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Yreka at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Williams family in Henry’s name. Girdner Funeral Chapel is assisting the family at this time.
