Larry Dean Henninger passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 67 from a very aggressive esophageal cancer. He passed away with his wife by his side, loving and supporting him until he passed and God took him home.
Larry was born on March 7, 1956 in Hemet, California. He is survived by his wife Susan, who was the absolute love of his life; his son Derrel Henninger, daughter Delaney Henninger, son Todd Bartlett (Hailee), and daughter Shelby Bartlett. Larry is also survived by his grandchildren Bryce, Elliott, Scout, Season and Sweet grand puppy Spud. Larry had dreams of teaching his grandchildren so many life lessons. He was taken from us way too soon. Larry leaves behind many family members who loved and admired him.
Larry had a passion to hunt, mountain bike, and in his earlier days raced motorcycles. He loved to mechanic, weld, and fix anything that challenged him. He was definitely a jack of all trades. His smile will be remembered as lighting up a room, and his laugh gave joy to all. He loved deep, gave unselfishly and had no enemies. The world would be a better place with more Larry Henninger’s in it. He will be missed beyond words, loved forever and live on in all of us.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother Darlene Henninger, father Dennis Henninger, step-father Jack Gillock, and his sister Lennette.
We will be celebrating this incredible man on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Fort Jones City Hall. The celebration will start at 1:00 PM. Larry loved desserts, so please bring your favorite dessert to honor him. We will be playing lots of country music and sharing memories. If you have words or memories you would like to share, the microphone will be open. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support. Larry will be so very very missed.
