McCloud Students are Winners at Halloween

McCloud Elementary School Students Wyatt Henson, Isabella Ferrera, Flower Malby, Leeroy Conway, Sunshine Malby, Jack Shamansky, Malaky Scarbrough, Kaydence Hunt, Jordan McAlister, Izabella Zahara, and Ayleah Fraley (Two students' names have been withheld by request)

display their Halloween artwork that won each of them an ice cream cone from

Floyd's Frosty in McCloud and some money from the American Legion Post 92 Auxiliary.


Scoring some money and something else that is delicious at Halloween, 29 students in McCloud participated in the Annual Halloween Art Contest put on by the American Legion Post 92 Auxiliary.


The three top winners of each category get cash and everyone that participates in the contest receives a coupon for a free ice cream cone from Floyd's Frosty in McCloud who donates every year.


The artwork is collected the week before Halloween and is on display at the Legion. The categories are Preschool through first grade, 2nd to 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th and 7th grade, 8th grade, and high school.


McCloud High School students Kayrissa Burris and Makayla Scarbrough show their artwork from the American Legion Post 92 Auxiliary Halloween Art Contest where they won an ice cream cone from Floyd's Frosty and some money for their efforts.
