Gary Leroy Tickner, age 72 of Fort Jones, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Friday, August 5th, 2022.
Gary was an outdoorsman who loved to pack and ride his mules. He loved hunting, fishing, and shooting his guns. Gary had the best sense of humor, a kid at heart who was always up for an adventure.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Bernita Tickner and beloved great grandson Daniel Reynolds. Gary leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Shirley; his three children, Stephanie (Scott) Reynolds, Gary Jr. and Wendy (Luke) Hurlimann; six grandchildren Jessica, Derek and Chase Reynolds, Kaden, Crawford and Kalista Hurlimann; 4 great grandchildren Addisyn, Carter and Cale Brandon and Lana Reynolds.
Memorial Graveside Services with military honors will be held at the Etna Cemetery on Saturday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m.
The family is planning a celebration of life at the Dowling Ranch in Etna on Saturday, September 24th at 3:00 p.m.
