#yetifire afternoon update: we’ve hit the height of the burn period and it’s hot and dry, as expected. We’re seeing an increase in fire activity, with fire backing in multiple fingers toward Highway 96 and increased activity on the southwest corner of the fire. So far, the fire has stayed within containment lines. Crews are working on the ground and helicopters are up in the air. We’ll update again if anything changes.
