Frank L. Christ Jr.,
Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Delta; a son, Kennith; sister, Madilyn; and his parents, Frank Sr. and Rose. Frank is survived by his daughter-in-law, Sharmel; sons, Frank III (Diane), Dennis (Kathleen), David (Sherrill), and Joseph (Damaris); 15 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
A Veteran of World War II, Frank served in the Army Air Corp and was deployed to France. He and Delta married in 1945 and after being discharged, resided in Marin County until moving his family to Etna in 1972.
Living in Etna over the next 50 years, Frank became a member of the Etna Lions Club, Volunteer Fire Department, and took part in many community functions.
Frank enjoyed family functions and activities. He and Delta enjoyed dancing and would travel far to take part in Square and Round Dances around Northern California and Southern Oregon.
A memorial celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 3 at 12 Noon at the Etna City Park.
