Moonshine Falls is right at JC Boyle Dam and presents a slight mystery: Fully under the dam lurking immediately upstream of the dam buried intact in the silt? Evidence suggests it was blasted. In addition to the location factor, this looks like cutting into the sediment, not bedrock. We’ll find out soon what the real deal is.

The purpose of this staff report is to inform the Board of Supervisors and the public of the Lower Klamath Hydroelectric Decommissioning Project’s (Project) progress every month. The report also includes an update on the County Staff’s involvement in the Project, as well as an outline of upcoming activities.
