Giving Makes the Holidays Brighter for Families and Individuals In Need

The old adage, โ€œIt is better to give than to receive,โ€ is particularly true during the holiday season. Through your generous donation to the Scott Valley FOCUS organization, you can help to make the holidays brighter for families and individuals in need.

Scott Valley FOCUS is a non-profit organization in Scott Valley that is committed to making a positive impact in the community. One of the ways it helps is through holiday food baskets for those struggling to make ends meet. Past contributions have enabled FOCUS to make over 300 food boxes and to feed more than 450 people for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Your contribution, no matter the size, can have a positive impact on others. One of the ways your donation can make a difference is to help defray the cost of the turkey and hams, which this year are approximately $50 each.

Scott Valley FOCUS is committed to stewarding your donation responsibly and ensuring that it is put to the best possible use to benefit those we serve. This month, Thanksgiving food boxes are being put together and distributed (or delivered to those who are home-bound) on Nov. 20 from the Valley Oaks Community Center in Greenview.
