**𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘: 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦**The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office can confirm two fire fatalities related to the #MillFire. The two fatalities were located within the City limits of Weed, California, by initial first responders on Friday, September 2, 2022.
The two deceased individuals were located at separate locations. Both individuals are adult females and their ages are 66 and 73.
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend its condolences to the friends and family of the deceased. Please join us in keeping the community in your prayers during this time.
