Editor’s note: This week’s blotter features what amounts to a cottage industry in unlicensed cannabis cultivation, with six individuals — several sharing a Green Bay, Wisconsin address — arrested in coordinated SCSO sweeps at parcels in the Shasta Vista and Montague areas. The Siskiyou DA also made a personal appearance in the booking report, walking a Weed man into Siskiyou Superior on a six-count contractor fraud and tax evasion case. And somewhere between the DUIs on I-5 at 3 a.m. and the loaded felon at Speedway Express, Kimber Lee Miller of Etna managed to get booked five separate times in six days — a logistical achievement that frankly deserves its own line item in the county budget.
