Last week, California Highway Patrol officers in Yreka responded to a report of a man brandishing a firearm near the Fuel 24/7 gas station on Easy Street.
Officers quickly located a male matching the description. The 18-year-old, who was intoxicated, was apprehended. Officers seized a loaded Glock 19 with an extended 31-round magazine from him. The firearm was later confirmed to be stolen from Chico, California.
The man was arrested for weapons violations and public intoxication.
