David Glen Williams, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and lifelong resident of Little Shasta, passed away at his home on July 28, 2025. Born in Yreka on December 2, 1946, David was the son of Glen and Ruth (Brown) Williams. He lived a life deeply rooted in his family homestead.
In 1971, David married Carla Eileen Jackson, and together they raised three daughters – Kelly, Kimberly, and Kari. The family lived a simple life, raising sheep, pigs, and chickens, and tending a large garden. David, as well as his girls, all attended Little Shasta School, and David was the groundskeeper there for some years. The girls were all members of the Tablerock 4-H club, and David and Carla were active parent leaders. During fair week, David could always be found in the barns, helping the girls with their project animals.
