Last week, the McCloud Services District was presented with an opportunity for substantial growth, along with economic and financial gain at their last monthly board meeting.
Bruce Burlinger, who is one of the of the founding partners in McCloud Mill Works Inc., introduced Stephanie Ray, a board certified Naturopathic Doctor (ND), founder and formulator of Bioray, a natural detox company using traditional Chinese medicine infused and biochemistry analysis to create liquid herbal formulas that detox the body while supporting different organ systems.
Stepanie Ray is currently in contract to buy an 8-acre parcel on the mill for a manufacturing plant and another 6-acre parcel to build 15 homes for housing employees. Together, they are asking the McCloud Community Services District to annex the 6-acre site into the district for water, sewer, and trash services for Bioray’s employee housing.
The objective of the project to start is to hire 25 to 30 locals. The jobs will include hiring for construction, landscaping, mycologists, scientists, building maintenance and operations. Priority will be given to McCloud residents and newcomers working at Bioray. Along with the housing, the company will be offering $25 to start along with medical, dental, training and education.
