The Living Memorial Sculpture Garden will hold its Memorial Day Ceremony on May 26, 2024, at 2 p.m. This ceremony will honor veterans who have served our country during war, conflicts and peacetime. Newly engraved names of veterans will be read and dedicated. The LMSG is located on Hwy 97 approximately 13 miles north of Weed, CA.
Master of Ceremonies will be Robert Menzies, Veteran and LMSG Board member. The program speaker will be Lonnie Johnson, past Pacific Northwest District Kiwanis Governor and Viet Nam veteran. The Marine Corps League, Siskiyou Detachment 936, will be the Color Guard for the ceremony. The names of veterans honored on this day will be read by Suzanne Breceda and Robert Menzies.
Please bring your own seating. All parking is on the periphery of the parking lot of the two Hot LZ Walls. Port-a-potties will be provided. Please, for the safety of all, including pets, keep all pets on a short leash.
