Public Health Advises the Public to Take Caution during Forecasted Excessive Heat

Notice: Cooling Centers are operating during normal business hours only.

SISKIYOU COUNTY – The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning in effect from August 10th, 8:00am until August 12th, 2:00am for the Shasta, Scott and Klamath River Valleys in central and western Siskiyou County.

This includes the communities of Weed, Yreka, Montague, Etna, Ft. Jones, Happy Camp and Somes Bar.
