Dunsmuir 2nd Saturday together with the annual Candles in the Canyon made for a very festive Saturday in Dunsmuir. Starting the morning with a pancake breakfast with the Dunsmuir Rotary Club, then christmas crafts for kids, a winter faire with music, vendors, and crafts, to many community members caroling at the downtown businesses, to Santa and Mrs. Claus (along with their reindeer named Oober) lighting the Christmas tree on Pine Street Park.

Starting at 8 in the morning, the activities lasted throughout the day. If any children missed the pancake breakfast, they were able to get treats at Bee Kind Bakery and Catering while they made holiday cards, stockings, and decorated cookies there with the help of Chamber volunteer elves. About 30 children trickled through during the first four hours of crafts.
