(YREKA, Calif., July 20, 2026) — A river restoration project led by the Yurok Tribe and project partners will temporarily affect whitewater rafting and other recreation on a 1.25-mile stretch of the Klamath River near McConnell Bar. The project area extends from the confluence of Humbug Creek and ends downstream near the river’s confluence with Brushy Creek.
