July 23, 2003 – May 16, 2026
Andrew James Allen passed away suddenly on May 16, 2026 in a single vehicle accident. Andy
was born on July 23, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center in Mt. Shasta to Donnie and Colleen Allen.
He lived his entire short life in Siskiyou County with his parents, his brother Hayden, and, since
2024, with his much-loved wife, Jocelyn.
After graduating from Northern United Charter School in 2021, Andy worked for Montague
Elementary’s SAFE program, Northern United-Siskiyou Charter School as a tutor, the City of
Yreka, and most recently serving as manager at our local McDonald’s. He was such a kind and
joyful person who loved everybody, always had a positive attitude, and made friends
everywhere he went, even up into Canada and all the way to England.
