ATWOOD, Laina J., 40, Yreka, was arrested March 24 by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office at the Extra Mile Gas Station in Yreka on suspicion of forging or altering vehicle registration, a felony. Bail was set at $20,000. She was additionally arrested March 25 by Probation on a felony probation violation charge. She was released March 27. According to booking notes, she bailed out on the registration charge but still had an active felony VOP with no bail — suggesting the probation office handled the math differently than her attorney did.
BALDASSARRE, Brian M., 39, Weed, was arrested March 29 by the Sheriff’s Office at Carrick Park on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia, and a misdemeanor failure to appear on a CAL FIRE warrant. Bail on the warrant was set at $5,000. He was released the following day.
BEALS, Michael A. Sr., 46, Happy Camp, had a busy week. He was arrested March 24 by Yreka Police at Yreka Motors on suspicion of trespassing and obstructing a business, and released March 27. He was back in custody March 28, arrested by the Sheriff’s Office at 116 Oakview St. on a contempt of court charge. Released the same day. By early morning March 30 — just past midnight — he was arrested again at 3434 Easy Street on suspicion of stalking in violation of a temporary restraining order, a felony carrying $50,000 bail, along with another contempt charge. As of the report date he had not been released. Court date: April 2.
BENNETT, Panda M., 37, Dorris, was arrested March 26 by the Sheriff’s Office at her Ponderosa Lane residence on suspicion of making criminal threats with intent to terrorize, a felony with $25,000 bail, along with misdemeanor counts of assault and battery. She was released March 27.
COATS, Jerry C., 61, Hornbrook, was arrested March 26 by the Sheriff’s Office at his Wagon Road residence on suspicion of brandishing a firearm replica, a misdemeanor. He was booked and released the same day. Court date: May 5.
COULT, Monty L. Jr., 33, Yreka, was arrested March 29 by Yreka Police on N. Foothill Drive on three separate misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrants issued by Siskiyou County Superior Court, each carrying $1,000 bail. He was released the same day.
COWDREY, Lisa K., 65, Greenview, was arrested March 25 by the Sheriff’s Office on Highway 3 on suspicion of driving on a suspended or revoked license and failure to report for a work release program, both misdemeanors. As of the report date she had not been released.
DELEON, Edwin E., 56, Los Angeles, was arrested March 29 by CHP in Mt. Shasta on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or above, both misdemeanors. He was released March 30. Court date: June 2.
DELGADO, Debra L., 58, McCloud, was arrested March 26 by the Sheriff’s Office at her Lawndale Court residence on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,000. She was released March 27.
DIAZ, Fernando, 46, Studio City, was arrested March 23 by the Livermore/Pleasanton Police Department on Gallop Road on suspicion of DUI involving drugs, a misdemeanor. He was booked and released the same day. Court date: May 19.
EDWARDS, Benjamin C., 55, Dunsmuir, was arrested March 29 by the District Attorney’s office at the Dunsmuir Florence Loop on a Shasta County felony bench warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge. He was booked and released the same day. Court date: April 1.
FUENGPON, Songkwan, 45, Mt. Shasta, was arrested March 26 by the Sheriff’s Office at her Sunset Drive residence on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, a felony. Bail was set at $50,000. As of the report date she had not been released. Court date: March 30.
GRAHAM, Kristina A., 42, Mt. Shasta, was arrested March 24 by Mt. Shasta Police at Old McCloud Road and Washington on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving alcohol, a misdemeanor. She was booked and released the same day. No court date was listed — apparently she was sober enough to sign a promise to appear.
GREEN, Justin E., 37, Yreka, was arrested March 28 by Yreka Police at Subway on a Fish and Game misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrant carrying $5,000 bail. He was booked and released the same day. Court date: April 21. Not noted: whether he had finished his sandwich first.
HARRIS, Jordan C., 43, Yreka, was arrested March 23 by Yreka Police at Pacific Pride on five warrants, including four misdemeanor failures to appear and a felony bench warrant carrying $20,000 bail. All were issued by the Yreka Police Department. As of the report date he had not been released. Court date: April 7.
HASELDEN, Joseph M., 47, Medford, Ore., was arrested March 25 by the District Attorney’s office in Jackson County on five outstanding warrants from Siskiyou County Superior Court, including a felony bench warrant carrying $20,000 bail and multiple misdemeanor failures to appear. He was released March 27. Court date: March 27 — so presumably somebody had a busy afternoon.
HERNANDEZ, Elzie J., 38, Happy Camp (transient), was arrested March 23 by the Sheriff’s Office at the Siskiyou County Jail on three Siskiyou Superior Court warrants: felony inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant, felony unlawful use of a tear gas weapon, and felony unlawful possession of tear gas. Bail on the primary charge was set at $20,000. She was released March 24. Court date: March 26.
HERRERA, Ruby N., 41, Yreka, was arrested March 29 by Yreka Police on N. Foothill Drive on two misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrants. She was booked and released the same day. Court date: April 21.
LAND, Michael D., 59, San Jose, was arrested March 25 by the Weed Police Department in the jail lobby on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor) and possession of a controlled substance with two or more prior convictions (felony). LIU, Liang J., 43, Renton, Wash., was arrested March 26 by the Sheriff’s Office in the Vista area on suspicion of cultivating six or more marijuana plants and possessing marijuana for sale, both misdemeanors. He was booked and released the same day. Court date: May 8.
MALTBIE, Stacey J., 51, Montague, was arrested March 23 by the Sheriff’s Office in the jail lobby on three CHP and SCSO misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrants, each carrying $5,000 bail. She was booked and released the same day. Court date: April 14.
MARTIN, Mathew P., 46, Weed, was arrested March 25 by the Weed Police Department on Phelps Street on suspicion of DUI with alcohol, DUI at 0.08 percent or above, driving on a DUI-suspended license, and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.01 percent or more while on probation. METZLER, Nicholas W., 40, Yreka (transient), was arrested March 25 by Yreka Police on Oberlin Street on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and on two warrants: a felony bench warrant carrying $50,000 bail and two misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrants each at $5,000. The following day, Yreka Police arrested him on Highway 263 on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving alcohol. He was booked and released March 26. Court date for both matters: May 5. Foothill near Grossroads on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance, along with a misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrant and a felony bench warrant carrying $20,000 bail. RODRIGUEZ-GONZALEZ, Maria de Jesus, 49, Salem, Ore., was arrested March 25 by CHP on northbound I-5 north of Parks Creek on suspicion of giving a false identity to a peace officer, a misdemeanor. Bail was set at $5,000. She was booked and released the same day. Court date: May 12.
