Yesterday Shannon & myself went to a community BBQ in Tennant Ca. Despite Everything, Tennant is a resilient community with a mix of hardship, adventure, and nostalgia. Nearly destroyed by a wildfire sparked from a lightning strike on August 1, 2021 in the Antelope Creek drainage area. A burned a total of 145,632 acres (about 227 square miles) before being fully contained on October 15, 2021, making it one of the larger fires in California’s 2021 wildfire season. 360º photo August 30th 2025, j.a.martin
