The City of Mt. Shasta invites all residents and community members to participate in an important town hall meeting focused on our future responses to fighting wildfires and ensuring public safety.

As wildfires continue to pose significant challenges to Northern California communities, Mt. Shasta is taking a proactive approach to community safety. Your input, experiences, and ideas are crucial in developing effective strategies that work for our unique location and community needs.

While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to RSVP to help us plan for adequate seating and materials.

  • Thank you for your attention to wildfire safety in our community. As you may know, the Mount Shasta Area Fire Safe Council and the Fire Safe Council of Siskiyou County have specialized in wildfire prevention and mitigation in our area for over 23 years.
