NOTICE OF ELECTION

GRENADA IRRIGATION DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grenada Irrigation District will have an election on November 4, 2025 for the purposes of electing two qualified individuals to the position of Director. The term for each position of Director shall run through the First Friday in December 2029, or until the Director’s successor qualifies and takes office.

1. In order to qualify for the position of Director, a person must be a registered voter and landowner within the District.

2. If insufficient nominations are received and a petition for election is not filed within the time period stipulated in Election Code section 10515, appointment to each elective office will be made by the Siskiyou County Supervisors as prescribed within the Election Code section 10515.

3. Nomination papers may be obtained at the office of Grenada Irrigation District July 14, 2025, through August 8, 2025 by calling 530-598-5985. Completed papers must be filed in the office of the Grenada Irrigation District no later than 5:00 p.m. August 8, 2025.

4. The election will be conducted by Grenada Irrigation District and its designated representatives. Information regarding the election may be obtained by calling 530-598-5985.
