Siskiyou County Primary Election Update: 407 Ballots Remain Unprocessed; 93 Awaiting Cure

June 7, 2026

Siskiyou County elections officials released an updated Estimated Unprocessed Ballots Report on June 5, 2026, showing 407 ballots still awaiting processing as of that date. Of those, 93 ballots require curing โ€” primarily due to signature issues on vote-by-mail identification envelopes or unsigned envelopes. Voters have been contacted to resolve these so their ballots can be counted.

This represents significant progress since the last update. The county has now processed 13,762 ballots out of 27,600 registered voters (49.86% turnout), with 3,112 additional ballots tabulated since the previous report. All 56 precincts have reported.
