I believe we have to work together, starting on issue we agree on then work our way to the tougher ones. It is a process, it will take time, the time was yesterday..
Pew Research Center conducted this study to better understand Americans’ views of the problems facing the country, Joe Biden’s job performance and more. For this analysis, we surveyed 5,115 adults from June 5-11, 2023. Everyone who took part in this survey is a member of the Center’s American Trends Panel (ATP), an online survey panel that is recruited through national, random sampling of residential addresses. This way nearly all U.S. adults have a chance of selection. The survey is weighted to be representative of the U.S. adult population by gender, race, ethnicity, partisan affiliation, education and other categories. Read more about the ATP’s methodology.
Here are the questions used for the report and its methodology.
Democrats hold edge on many issues, but more Americans agree with Republicans on economy, crime, immigration

- The Unregulated Skies: A Lack of Oversight Above UsIn the quiet expanse of Siskiyou County, the sky often feels like a battlefield. It’s never going to happen as long as they keep pointing the finger at each other.
European-Americans complaining about immigration issues? That’s funny and ironic! Obviously not going to get into that because it’s not the place, but I will say that if a non-European descent were to complain about immigration issues, it would be considered hate speech. But when political fronts like Conservatives complain about “immigration” it’s a problem? Yikes much?!
Hahahaha! Americans think Republicans are fiscally conservative and the “best” solution for economic situations? I guess people haven’t learned their lessons from Ronald Reagan and how trickle down economics would benefit everyone: it didn’t! Aside from vetoing the fairness doctrine act, dismantling mental health care, defunding public education/knowledge of sexual health programs of awareness (aids crisis), granting more corporate welfare including tax breaks for the wealthy, and let’s not forget good ol’ deregulation policies which have damaged the economy and environment tenfold! Yeah, Republicans hugely responsible for those issues they’ve caused!
Want more examples? Housing market 2008 crisis (thanks Bush!) and Trump rolling back and removing (Dodd/Frank act) to allow banks to make more riskier investments and eventually causing a bank meltdown recently? How about environmental and safety protections? People already forgot what happened in Palestine Ohio?! I mean, I can go on and on all day! Yet, somehow Republicans are the solution to fiscal and economic situations? I don’t even want to give numbers and military budgets as it will make people’s head spin!
Production is at an all time high while wages have stagnated since the 70s. Republicans are owned by Wall Street pretty much as SEC fails to regulate itself and the so called free market.
Heck, retail investors are being fleeced by brokers and WallStreet as I type! It’s soo bad that there’s going to be a movie about this soon called Dumb Money to be released this September 2023. I will say that I went through these events myself at the time in 2020-21 as the events in the film unfolded. I won’t touch into heavy specifics, but the stock market is fraudulent in soo many ways that I wouldn’t even know where to begin, all thanks to Republicans and Wall Street!
The democratic party isn’t any better but it’s sad that now it’s a case of the lesser of two evils.
The system has become terrible for everyone! Way to go, America! Keep increasing poverty and incarceration rates while keeping more people uneducated!
