Siskiyou Newsletter, Last Weekend of April 2023

Check out the latest news and information from Siskiyou News:

Thank you so much for all your help and support. Things are really starting to come together, and I couldn’t have done it without you. Your dedication and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and I’m truly grateful. Thanks again!

This has been a profound month of personal and spiritual growth. I am becoming more confident and secure that this is my correct calling. Laughing, I have learned to trust in my higher power long ago.

Shannon Wedgley is at a salmonoid conference, will be very interesting to bring you into this new information and explore deeper into some issues that need a little light on them. We got off to a rough start on the FlipSide as the flu bug is struggling with our immune system. We are eager, though, and have a great lineup in the works!

Shareen Strauss got hit with the bug after Easter, and bless her heart. She is still doing way too much. Snow trooper Shareen is feeling back to herself and is back out and about, as she reported to me the other day.

And big big announcement!

Julie Russell will be helping cover events in Scott Valley! We connected at the Lions Club Fall Fest last fall and she asked to join in when she retired this spring. Happy Days, it is spring and what a blessing this will be. Just this weekend, Siskiyou News will be covering two events Saturday in the valley. The Queening at Denny Bar and the Scott Valley Schools Creative Writing contest.

One last note, I am also looking forward to visiting with a friend of a friend that turns out to be the Hmong-American Advisory Council CEO. The door is open. The next step is for families to meet. This brings me joy, networking, helping others, just maybe. Just hopeful.

Also been interviewing the homeless around Yreka, wow! Wait till you hear some of these stories. Very enlightening to say the least. Have a wonderfull weekend.

Hope to see ya around,

Jay

And SURPRISE, SURPRISE…. I got not one but “2” emails last night from my long lost dear friend Che’usa. O it was such a joy to hear she is doing well and setting in. She sent me some interesting information about gardening energy contraption that is long lost common practices lost over time. Will be fun to see what the Main Street Homestead lady has to say.
