Siskiyou Family YMCA Wellness Wednesday Presentation: Fraud & Scams
As people age, they become more susceptible to fraud and scams. It’s essential to educate yourself on how to safeguard older adults from these types of crimes. This special event is FREE to all, hosted at the Siskiyou Family YMCA and presented by City of Yreka Police Department Chief, Mark Gilman. Participants will learn: why certain age groups are more vulnerable to fraud and scams; an understanding of fraud and common scams; and how to report fraud and scams.
Chief Gilman has more than three decades of experience handling all aspects of the job. Gilman and his staff are unwavering in their commitment to making Yreka a safe place to live, work and play.
