The Best of Mt Shasta Conference and Festival is an event created by Andrée Morgana. When she moved to Mt Shasta years ago, she noticed that visitors to our area went to the mountain and other nature spots, ate at the restaurants in the area, shopped at the stores downtown and went home. They never met the local people who represent the spiritual history of our area, or are exploring new ideas in our country, so she created an event that would showcase our community with Native Healing, Spirit and Spirituality, Health and Wellness, and Our Environment, Nature Speaks.
This three day event at the Mt Shasta City Park on August 7th, 8th, and 9th will begin on the first day with an opening ceremony of the Blessing of the Earth at the Gazebo followed by indoor workshops on Native Healing. Each day, outdoors in the meadow the festival will include a wide variety of music from local bands playing throughout the day . Of course there will be lots of vendors, with lots to offer, who are both local and those from far away who want to be part of Mt Shasta, and so much more.
On the first evening of the event all the Presenters will give firsthand experience of the spiritual passion that drew them to the Mount Shasta area to forever set the tone to grow spiritually and connect with the inner peace this area brings and how it affects their teachings.
