McCloud’s 2024 St. Patty’s Pub Crawl

Once again, McCloud was the place to be for celebrating St. Patty’s Day on Saturday evening when all the fun places in this festive community opened up with St. Patty’s Day Specials and activities.

The McCloud River Inn known for their homemade, one-of-a-kind pastries and desserts had a cupcake raffle; $5 for 12 chocolate cupcakes. Their specials included an open face cornbeef sandwich, Irish cheddar pickles, wings with German potato sides, Irish mac and cheese, Baileys Guinness, peppermint Baileys, and vanilla cake.

The Meat Market which is located in the McCloud Mercantile had many drink  specials served in a traditional copper mug which included an Irish Maid, Irish Mule, and a Fuzzy Leprechaun. The foods were all the Irish favorites like Irish nachos, pretzels, and beer cheese along with their cornbeef sandwiches. Owner Misty Hays, says, “There are a lot of people out for the Pub Crawl tonight. It is a good mix keeping us busy as they come through here hitting all the pubs.”

The Axe & Rose held games, and foods such as Irish Logger Fries with corn beef, cheese, and sour cream. Their most popular drink of the night was Pot of Gold. Owner, Marianne Endoso, says, “It is fun to see everyone come out after a long winter to have fun.”

Siskiyou Brew Works raffled off pizza meals with Pub Crawl specials.

The American Legion got people up and dancing with live music by Jimmy Limo. People were having fun taking jello shots straight from the syringe.
