Social Worker Job Fair

Siskiyou County Social Services is looking for talented and dedicated individuals to join our team of Social Workers in various positions of our Adult and Children’s Services. Both experienced and those new to the role of Social Worker are encouraged to participate in this Job Fair and apply.
Presentations start at 9am; Applications accepted only until 10:30; then testing for Social Worker I/II positions until 12noon (no testing for Social Worker IV). If you pass both application and testing, you will be invited to interview that afternoon!

Social Worker I/II requires 30 semester units in social welfare, sociology, psychology, alcohol and drug/human services, criminal justice, or other behavioral science. Those who are new to social work and have these minimum qualifications are encouraged to apply for Social Worker I/II positions and will receive on the job training. Social Worker IV requires a master’s degree in social work or a two-year counseling program. These experienced social workers will be assigned to advanced and intensive case management services.
