next show at Marble Rim Gallery features Peter Wright

As we know, our next show at Marble Rim Gallery features Peter Wright, whom we know as a beloved Scott Valley retired school teacher and artist.   You may remember his last show at the gallery in April, 2023.  Since then, Peter has poured the grief from recently losing his wife into a resurgence of his painting.  It is heartwarming, and very exciting as his new paintings are amazing, like a renaissance of his work. 

As Peter’s daughter, Sydney, has written,

“He found solace in the movement of the water and brought that energy flow to the canvas through subjects including Moss Brea falls, Johnson Creek and Etna Creek. Bringing life and color back to his paintings, Peter has once again found his muse in flowers.”

Marble Rim Gallery, 11835 Main, Fort Jones, is open Tues, Fri, and Sat 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
