Debbie Sue Turnham
Jan. 27, 1953 – May 31, 2026

Debbie Sue Turnham, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 27, 1953, in Mount Shasta, California, Debbie was the beloved daughter of Boomer and Lucille Tonkin. From the beginning, she was adored by her older sisters, Elaine and Janet, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of love and friendship.

Fifty-four years ago, Debbie married the love of her life, Joseph Turnham. Together they built a beautiful life centered on family, hard work, and unwavering love. Their marriage was a shining example of commitment, partnership, and devotion.

Debbie was the proud mother of two daughters, Jolie Daniken (Doug) and Lisa Pigoni (Mark). She found immense joy in being โ€œGrandmaโ€ to her four beloved grandchildren: Joe Baures, Lucy Prince, and Emily and Alli Pigoni. Her family was the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to nurturing, supporting, and celebrating each of them.

Debbie cherished family traditions and created countless memories that will live on for generations. Whether gathering loved ones around the table, celebrating holidays, or simply spending time together, her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Retirement brought Debbie and Joe the opportunity to pursue their dream of building a home in Alaska, where they spent part of each year surrounded by its breathtaking beauty. Their Alaskan home became a treasured gathering place for family who eagerly looked forward to visiting each summer. Countless memories were made through long days of fishing, adventuring, and enjoying time at their home.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will continue to inspire her family and friends. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the lessons she taught, the traditions she established, and the love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that her love and influence will continue to guide them, and they will forever cherish the precious memories they shared with her. Debbie’s life was a beautiful example of selfless love, and her legacy will live on in the family she adored.
