The Dems are at it Again
“Government-Run Health Care for All” A.B. 1400 died in 2022 the CA Assembly’.
We now have AB 2200 “Guaranteed Health Care for All” which passed in the assembly by a 9-4 vote. It is now in the Appropriations committee.
AB 2200 would create the “California Guaranteed Health Care for All” program, or “CalCare,” to provide comprehensive universal single-payer health care coverage and a health care cost control system for the benefit ofall residents of the state.
This bill would create the CalCare Board to govern CalCare, made up of 9 appointed voting members plus the Secretary of California Health and Human Services or their designee as a nonvoting, ex officio member.
CalCare ultimately removes the freedom of citizens to make their own healthcare coverage decisions and places the healthcare system under government control.
It is estimated to cost $12,250 per household tax increase!!
AB 2200 is over 60 Pages long. Go to leginfo.legislature.Ca.gov. to read the entire bill.
