Eight new fires have been reported since the lightning that occurred over the #KlamathNF today, all of which are on the west side of the Forest.

Four fires are on the Scott River side of the Salmon/Scott Ranger District: the Box Fire near Paradise Lake is .25 acres; the Townsend Fire is .1 acre near Townsend’s Gulch; the Yellowjacket Fire on Yellowjacket Ridge is .1 acre; and the Thompkins Fire is .1 acre, up Thompkins Creek. These…
